This was the second of my bread experiments this Christmas holidays and one which worked really well as bread for soup which we had lots of being home for lunches rather than stuck at work!

I decided to try using spelt flour as an alternative to white loafs which we normally opt for. I used this spelt recipe as I had never used spelt flour before, I did half the quantity for one loaf.

I’m really happy how this turned out and it was really tasty. I’m going to use this as the base and experience with the recipe more adding in seeds and other goodness!

Do you have any other recipes with spelt flour I can experiment with?
